Each training provides a safe and fun environment where one can explore new skills designed to create lasting change in the behavior of adults and children alike. Several of the Conscious Discipline® skills and powers are shared at each training. Participants are given the opportunity to practice these skills during the training session. Through energetic songs and movement experiences participants learn how to provide the necessary organized movement patterns that active children require in order to learn. A simple, relevant and understandable brain model is shared that helps attendees to understand why adults and children react the way they do in situations of conflict. Participants will learn how to maintain composure while focusing on what they want children to do. Participants receive handouts for follow up review and study. Trainees will have access to a variety of Loving Guidance™ materials that will help them to learn more about how to implement Conscious Discipline® into their personal and professional lives. These interactive trainings can be tailored to meet the needs of the audience.

From February 14 to 18, Kay had the privilege of assisting Dr. Bailey at the Conscious Discipline® II (CD II) Workshop held at the Canterbury Retreat in Oviedo, Florida.
Kay had this to say about her journey, “Teaching with Dr. Bailey was an amazing experience. Stimulating conversation occurred as the group of 35 participants engaged in learning and ate their meals together from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day. Attendees from across the nation including educators and administrators representing all levels, parents, childcare professionals, military support personnel, a minister, mental health educators etc. basked in Dr. Bailey’s brilliance. I was privileged to advance my learning about Conscious Discipline® as I led a small group each day and taught a segment of the workshop.”
Dr. Bailey continually revises her instruction to reflect the most current brain research as she shares new developmentally appropriate instructional strategies and effective home/workplace management skills and structures. She consistently contributes quality Conscious Discipline® tools, ranging from new Shubert books to Safe Place items.
Dr. Bailey, via Loving Guidance, offers several week-long Conscious Discipline I (CD I) trainings each summer in Orlando, Florida. We encourage you to attend and hope to see you at a summer Loving Guidance Workshop, as we assist Dr. Bailey at some of these trainings as well. We promise that you will have a fun and powerful week that will lead to lasting change.
